Auto retractable hard top more likely for something to break. Less maintenance (no need to yearly restore color and waterproof), contact-less car wash possible. Removable hard top can scratch your car an least on NB. I did that on mine. Soft top simple, cheaper and default. Needs care. I would go auto-retractable hard top, if they had it on NBs.
